COLORADO SPRINGS 鈥?For Jeremy DeWall, his dogs are like children to him. DeWall has had three of his dogs pass away within the last year.Most recently, his dog Tommy died unexpectedly at the emergency vet during the last week of June. Tommy, he was kind of the goofball. Everybody called him the gentle giant. Like the two dogs before him, DeWall made arrangements through his veterinarian for Tommy to be cremated at Lasting Paws, a pet crematorium in Colorado Springs, Colorado.DeWall says he used the same provider for his two dogs who passed stanley cup away before Tommy and had their ashes back from the crematorium within one week.That was not the case for Tommy s ashes.After just over two weeks, DeWall decided to call Lasting Paws to ask about Tommy s ashes. TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. -- A Michigan com adidas samba og pany is voluntarily recalling 2,297 cases and two bulk bins of fresh apples due to a potential Listeria contamination.North Bay Produce of Traverse City says the varieties included in the recall are McIntosh, Honeycrisp, Jonathan, adidas originals Fuji, Jonamac and Red Delicious apples.The recalled apples were sold in plastic bags under the brands Great Lakes, North Bay Produce Pure Michigan as well as unbranded in clear plastic tote bags, wh air max 1 ite paper tote bags, and individually from retailers display trays. The apples were shipped between Oct. 16 and Oct. 21 from one North Bay facility to wholesalers, retailers and brokers in Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin.Apples purchased before Oct. 16 are not affected by the recall.
