LAHORE:Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Thursday dismissed a petition by a suspended Punjab University professor challenging an inquiry that had recommended that he be removed from service.The petition had been filed by Dr Ahsan Akhtar Naz, former director of Institute of Communication Studies at the Punjab University.In November 2011, an inquiry had been conducted against Dr Naz, Dr (retd) Mugheesuddin Sheikh, another former director of adidas samba the Institute of Communi adidas yeezys cation Studies, Dr Zaid Mahmood of the chemistry department and Dr Mahmoodul Hasan Arif of the Urdu Encyclopedia of Islam.According to the show cause notices issued to Dr Naz and Dr Sheikh, the two were accused of misconduct; preparing fake award lists to favour four students.
