This comes after 31 recruits graduated from CSPD s Training Academy Thursday. The graduates spent the last six and a half months doing intensive training. As we ve previously reported, there has been an ongoing staff shortage at the department, and these new recruits should help with that. That actually puts us just over 800 officers and that s the first time we ve even been that high. So the stanley cup continuous hiring process is absolutely working, the numbers are really starting to increase. CSPD says this class will put the depa nike sb dunk rtment at 771 officers. A 55-year-old man is dead after an officer-involved shooting Sunday morning in Waukesha.It happened just after 12:30 a.m. in the area of School Drive and Prairie Ave. According a press release, police were looking for a suspect involved in a forgery case. Police had attempted to get the man to turn himself in, but he refused and was threatening to harm himself.An officer was able to locate the man and upon making contact, police say the man immediately pulled a knife and threatened the officer. That when the suspect was shot four times in the chest.The man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounc stanley becher ed dead. No names of the suspect or officer are being released uggs skor at this time.
